予想されたことだが、これが現実になってしまったら、厳しい。
Siberia flight ban threat in sanctions row
http://www.theguardian.com/world/2014/aug/05/siberia-flight-ban-threat-sanctions-dobrolyot
The Russian prime minister, Dmitry Medvedev, has threatened to retaliate for the grounding of a subsidiary of Aeroflot, the national airline, because of EU sanctions, with one newspaper reporting that European flights to Asia over Siberia could be banned.
Such a move would enforce costly detours on airlines, including Lufthansa and IAG, owner of British Airways, as more fuel would be needed for extended routes.
At the height of the cold war, most western airlines were barred from flying through Russian airspace to Asian cities, and instead had to operate via the Gulf or the US airport of Anchorage, Alaska, on the polar route. However, European carriers now fly over Siberia on their rapidly growing routes to countries such as China, Japan and South Korea, paying fees that have been subject to a long dispute between Brussels and Moscow.
The daily quoted one source as saying a ban could cost carriers including Lufthansa, British Airways and Air France €1bn (£790m) over three months.
欧米主導のロシア制裁に加わっていない日本やアジア諸国の航空会社には適応されないのだろうけど、それはそれで考えてしまう。
世界の調和は、また、後退している。
